All American

When I went down to Nashville, I didn't know what I was going to see that day. When I got down there I was told that I was going to shoot a car that is owned by a guy named Doug, that owned an engine shop called grooms. I didn't know that I was going to be in the presence of one of Ford's best vehicles.

Sorry about the lack of updates

I have been busy with school. So here is a gem that was in front of me on my way back to school yesterday afternoon.
Who would want to make their Mazda Protege` a Honda? Apparently this guy.

Sad news

It has come to my attention that the rest of the season of Tennessee Drift has been canceled. There was vandalism at the track during the event last weekend, and the company has decided to ban drifting there all together. Unfortunately, a few bad apples ruin it for the rest of us.
I will still keep this site updated, there just wont be as many drift events as I would like. I am really ashamed that this had happened, and I don't condone any of the events that occurred.

With sympathy,
Terrence

This is not a Nissan, it is a monster!

Up above is a hacked up 240 monster. It demands the attention of everyone. The car was made into a targa with a silvia front, and metal pipe bumpers. Underneath the bonnet is not a KA, not a SR, not even a 2jz. It is an American-Japanese mutt, it has an LS1. The power that this car makes is astonishing, the car is out to kill anyone who isn't prepared to drive such a beast.

Tennessee Drift practice round 2

So last Saturday was the second practice round of the Tennessee Drift series. There was an amazing turn out, and the weather was great. The wasn't much variety in the cars that were drifting, but there were ones that stood out. It was mostly for people to get some seat time, and work on drifting. There were people of all skill levels, and drivers from all around the southeast came out to drift. If this event is a preview of what is to come this season, there will be amazing drifting coming out of Tennessee.

Lamborghini love

Even though it is owned by Audi, Lamborghini will always be an Italian car. The marque has had money trouble back in the day, but now it is doing quite well. Gallardo is Spanish for gallant, and Italian for striking; it is also a breed of fighting bull. The Lamborghini Gallardo is currently the most produced Lamborghini.

Deutsch ist wunderbar (German is wonderful)

I have always had a love for German cars. Weather it is an old school Porsche 911 or an old VW Beetle, I just find German cars amazing. Being that Cars and Coffee was at the European Auto Garage, there was bound to be some Germans in the bunch. As I expected, there were. Here are some that stood out to me.

Congrats to James Evins

His work made the Cover of S3 magazine. It is currently in print, but will be coming out soon. Pick it up when it comes out. He has been covering a lot of stuff down in Houston, and his photography has been showing up on blogs/ and in magazines a lot lately. I think he will be published a lot more as this year progresses.

2 meets and dragon slaying all in 1 day

So today was a long tiring trip for me. But I will write this right now while I am on a rush from my 5 hour energy shot. I started out by leaving Nashville around 5am to Knoxville for this big gathering called Cars and Coffee. There was a vast gallery of cars there, and the weather was nice so everybody took out their beauties.
